Lessons & Classes

Huntington Stand Up Paddle's group classes and lessons are pre-scheduled and posted on our online calendar.  Private and semi-private lessons may be scheduled at your convenience, click here for pricing.  Classes are limited to 6 paddlers per instructor- reservations are strongly suggested. All paddlers with their own equipment must utilize USCG required safety equipment. All PaddleFit and SUP Yoga classes require reservations with a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Intro to Stand Up Paddle Boarding


A 60 minute group lesson, taught by a Paddle Fit Certified Coach, that covers the basics of paddle boarding-- form, turning, water conditions, board care etc.  Classes are limited to 6 paddlers per instructor— reservations are strongly encouraged. Please allow 90 minutes.

Group Tour


A 1 hour group paddle for all levels of paddler, led by one of our seasoned coaches. Group tours are based upon the groups skill set and interests, as well as the water and wind conditions.  We may explore Huntington Harbor or venture into the Bay to see Huntington Lighthouse, Sand City or Target Rock. Kayakers welcome. A great way to meet other paddlers! 



This is not your average workout. Huntington Stand Up Paddle offers a fun and challenging, high intensity workout for those fitness enthusiasts looking for a break from their regular workout routine.  Huntington SUP’s instructors have trained in PaddleFit instruction by Brody Welte, creator of the Paddle Fit certification.  Focusing on endurance and strength training, this total body workout is sure to challenge you.  By changing up routines and exercises, PaddleFit training will keep your body guessing and you will see amazing transformations in both your body and attitude. If you are tired of your usual workout regimen or want to get out of the gym, PaddleFit is exactly what you need to get energized and refreshed!

SUP Yoga


Take your practice to new depths on the picturesque Huntington Harbor!  Join our certified instructors for a 75 minute  experience, combining stand up paddle boarding with a slow vinyasa flow.  All levels welcome, modifications will be offered for any special needs.  MUST sign up in advance to reserve your spot.
